After launching the quantum science experimental satellite, China continuously achieves new progress in the field of quantum communications. Not long ago, China completed the first commercial quantum communication network test in Jinan, and plans to start using quantum communication networks by the end of August. Some think that China's breakthrough in the field of quantum communications does not mean China's basic research on quantum communications is ahead of those of Europe’s and the United States’, but rather the research is in response to national strategic needs, which makes China allocate greater amount of resources; the results is that the country begins to be ahead of Europe and the United States in the application.
