In recent years, there are much negative evaluations on Northeast China, such as the collapse of the Northeast economy, brain drain, state-owned enterprises issues, backwardness and poor business environment; there are a lot of discussions on the revitalization of the Northeast as well, the Central Government also proposed the second round of the revitalization of the Northeast. However, the most critical part of the revitalization of the Northeast should be done by the Northeasterners. The Northeast region should have a strong sense of crisis, and major reform must be carried on. If the regional economy, social mentality, cultural development, government services, the concept of the people do not change, it would be difficult for outside aid to save the Northeast.
