Chan Kung on China's consortium "clean-up"
ANBOUND
Since the "cleaning-up" to rectify the of large consortia in China this year, Anbound's chief researcher Chan Kung's believes that there is a boundary for the “cleaning-up” of these well-known consortia; its result depends on different factors: First, the leadership of these consortia are under different circumstances; the second is that through capital acquisition and other edge infiltration there is a complex relationship between the assets, and this must be addressed and suppressed; third, the future of Chinese domestic private consortia mixing with state-owned enterprises may appear one after another. The security and influence of the business consortia depend on whether the enterprises have real system importance, not just a complex business relationship, or being "big but unbeatable".
