New planned economy controversy worthy to be noticed
ANBOUND

The Chinese business magnate Jack Ma believes that in the era of Big Data, planning and prejudgment will be made possible, and this will redefine the planned and market economy. Jack Ma's point of view was then refuted by Chinese economists. Zhang Weiying believes that Jack Ma's mistake is that data-based decision-making is merely scientific decision-making, rather than entrepreneurial decision-making; some people argue that the essence of the planned economy is not data economy but power economic. Anbound believes that the controversy of the new planned economy is worth to be noticed; though its origin lies in the computation and the application of Big Data, its impact may lead to the policy level or even ideological differences. China's development should still be based on the market economy, rather than planned economy.
