China should be strategic in introducing railway standard to Africa
ANBOUND
Recently, the transfer of the Madaraka railway was held at the Port Reitz. The railway is connected to Kenya's port city of Mombasa and the capital Nairobi, a total length of 472 km; the freight train speed will be doubled, yet the price will become cheaper. Anbound research team believes that the Madaraka railway project brings the Chinese standard railroad to Africa. Due to the demonstration of the Madaraka railway, it may continue to extend to other countries in the future and will bring other rail exports of China and the related industry output. But in this regard, China must have strategic and systematic arrangements, the railway construction as a major artery, driven by a series of investment and cooperation, to make the industrial chain bigger and stronger, and ultimately with other investment facilities to form an interrelated business network.
