Arrival of a multi-polar world

At the end of the NATO and G7 Summit, German Chancellor Angela Merkel hinted that the post-World War II West was severely damaged by Brexit and by Donald Trump. In this regard, Anbound's chief researcher Chan Kung believes that Merkel's speech cannot be considered as EU's collective view, though it reveals that the world is facing big changes. The United States is now interested in fading out some of the international responsibilities, the EU, Russia, China, the United States and Japan, will together constitute the future of a multi-polar world. As for the future prospects of the EU, it will not be very optimistic; such condition will create more opportunities for China, though China needs to be well-prepared.
