On March 29, Dr. Lv Jianzhong, Deputy Director of the Think Tank Research Center affiliated to China National Petroleum Corporation Group (CNPC), led his team to ANBOUND for research exchanges. Duan Yiqiang, Assistant to ANBOUND Chairman and Marketing Director, He Jun, Director of China Macro Research Center, Yi Wang, Head of Global Development Program, Feng Yan, Head of Research Affairs, and Wang Zhaoxi, Director of Public Relations and Media attended the meeting.

Director Lv introduced the development of top think tank for PetroChina and their research purpose. He expected the cooperation with ANBOUND, independent think tank, to increase academic exchanges, jointly conduct high-quality new programs. Mr. Duan warmly welcomed their arrival. Director He Jun and Yi Wang, respectively, introduced ANBOUND's history, field research, and international research cooperation.

The two sides discussed specific issues including think tank operation mode in China, proposal submission, subject mechanism, the latest research priorities and project operation. In particular, they shared the insights about the future of carbon peaking, carbon neutrality, China's energy security, and "Belt and Road" energy.
