Beibu Gulf development should breakthrough administrative restriction to achieve integration
ANBOUND

Currently, in the Beibu Gulf, as Port of Zhanjiang is more cost effective, goods in Guangxi often do not go through ports in Guangxi. Anbound research team believes that this reflects two issues; the first is the high cost of logistics in the Guangxi area, which is caused by the imperfect infrastructures and inefficiency caused by ineffective policies and management, and we believe the latter is the great cause. The second issue is the development of the Beibu Gulf region should be free from administrative division restrictions, and there should be further integration, forming a unified, consistently external Beibu Gulf port group.
