World investment research market to feel the hit
ANBOUND
The cost of research investment is a heated debate among the asset management companies and investment banks. It is reported that the top 15 investment banks issued about 40,000 research reports weekly, however, less than 1% of the research reports are read by investors; this has caused that the investment banks need to cover the cost of expensive analysts, and buyers are reluctant to pay for the high cost of research, which would result in mass retrenchment in banks worldwide. This also means that the global investment research market is being hit, and as more and more artificial intelligence is introduced into the field of investment, the entire investment research is likely to feel the impact, because robots that rely software do not need to see investment analysis.
