On March 5, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang presented the government work report for 2017 in the National People's Congress. Premier Li focuses on the 2017 national economic and social development, as well as deepening the reform and other works, while setting major development goals and arranging key works. We believe that there are a few points that are worthy of attention. First, on the whole, in 2017 all aspects of development will be focusing on stability. Second, there is no change in the formulation of macroeconomic policy; it is still a combination of "positive fiscal policy and prudent monetary policy". Third, the positive fiscal policy in this year's investment will show results; the government investment will lead the way, playing a leading role. Fourth, promoting the supply-side structural reform is the main theme in the economic reform this year, in order to reduce inefficient supplies and expand the effective supply. Fifth, the progress of the implementation of real estate taxes may actually be slower than expected.
