China should balance military and civilian needs
ANBOUND
To a certain extent, the world is entering a new period of military expansion; Europe, the United States, China, Southeast Asia, Japan, West Asia, Russia are all involved. This is especially true in the case of China, which is playing an important role in the current military expansion. For China, a developing country with more than 1.3 billion people, there are many economic and social issues that are not well resolved, and there are many pending reforms. Therefore, China should not only effectively and rationally utilize the scarce resources, but also need to now the balance between military expansion and the livelihood of its people. In fact, China sees integrating the military and the civilians as its national strategy in order to push for civil and social industrial development through national defence, as well as hoping social capital would bear parts of the national defence resources.
