In the recent years, some risks have emerged due the rapid development of domestic and international insurance and finance business in China. Therefore, CBRC has released the notice on "Strengthening Banks' Administration on Insurance and Finance Business" whereby it clarifies the responsibility of the banks in managing vendors’ finance business as well as strictly administers the insurance and finance business.
