Opportunities and challenges of foreign investments in China
ANBOUND

In recent years, due to a variety of factors and Trump's effect, foreign investment growth in China is slowing down. Anbound Think Tank points out that, on the one hand, China's domestic market openness is lacking and to a certain extent, it inhibits the enthusiasm of foreign investment in China. On the other hand, some foreign companies in China have an arrogant attitude, where they look down on Chinese consumers, or that they are unable to compete with local enterprises. Local Chinese enterprises are not weak in of innovation and competitiveness, and they dominate the country. China's past developments are results of globalization, and it will continuously support globalization. Whether it is domestic or foreign investors, they should take the initiative to adapt to the changing domestic market environment in China, and they should give China the necessary transition time. The Chinese government should also relax some areas of foreign restrictions to reverse the decline in foreign investment.
