This year, Chinese government is strengthening its efforts in eliminating non-productive enterprises from various industries. On 2nd September, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released the list of second batch non- productive enterprises that needs to be eliminated. It involves a total of 67 enterprises across the country and all of them are low-end paper manufacturers. The minister of the MIIT Miao Wei stated that the ministry will put more effort and achieve its target in eliminating more non-productive enterprises from the industries.
