Debt problems, lack of financial resources limiting regional development space
ANBOUND

Through visits and exchanges, Anbound Think Tank has recently learned that the debt problems and lack of financial resources are limiting the development space of some places, and it is also a manifestation of the structural problems and contradictions in the Chinese economy. This phenomenon shows that the current economic growth rate will not be stable. Because of structural weakness, in the next 10 years the Chinese economy is unlikely to maintain the level of 6% -7% growth; after 3-5 years, it may soon be in the 5% -6% growth range. Once that is the case, it would be difficult to carry out any substantive reform as the economy will be very fragile and the cost of reform would be too high. China's economic future will be determined by whether the country can substantially deepen reform and remove some of the inherent weaknesses.
