Taiwan: most dangerous place for tourists
ANBOUND

According to incomplete statistics, since 2009, the casualty rate of Mainland Chinese tourists in Taiwan is getting more frequent. Up to July 2016, 94 Mainland Chinese tourists were killed and more than 600 were injured. Anbound's chief researcher Chan Kung has already issued a warning as early as 2011 that Taiwan’s tourism market is one of riskiest in the world, yet unfortunately there are still cases of Mainland Chinese tourists found dead in Taiwan. This shows Taiwan’s tourism industry and relevant departments do not take seriously the safety of Mainland Chinese tourists and do not take adequate safety measures. Tourism industry in Taiwan also has insufficient capability and backward equipment to handle the influx of tourists. It should also be noted that Taiwan's infrastructure is outdated, and the buses carry higher safety risks.
