Inland China eager to construct nuclear power plants
ANBOUND
As the country having the largest scale in nuclear power plant construction, China has yet to release the nuclear power plant construction in the inland. However, many places have long been eager to be part of this. Anbound Think Tank has repeatedly stating that nuclear plants are not suitable for densely populated inland areas with limited water resources as it is rather risky' it would be disastrous if any unwanted incident happens. According to incomplete statistics, a number of inland provinces have been planned to construct inland nuclear power plants, there are as many as 130 nuclear power plants under planning and under construction, including the coastal nuclear power plants. Under such circumstances, the Central Government should be more cautious on the risks of inland nuclear power plants.
