ANBOUND
In a meeting held on January 22, the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China decided to set-up a central commission for integrated military, civilian development, which will be headed by President Xi Jinping; the importance of this commission is evident. Anbound Think Tank's scholars believe that the military and civilian integration should achieve at least three strategic-level objectives: First, it should allow China to accelerate the development of the sustainability of national defense expenditure. Second, China's development of national defense science and technology and capital investment should contribute to the development of civil industry and economic growth. Third, there is the need to promote the transformation of military enterprises and strengthen service supply capacity.
