On November 27, Xinhua News Agency has released a guideline on better protection of property rights, which emphasizes law-based property protection rights' requirements and deployment. Anbound Think Tank’s research team believes that first of all, the guideline shows clear importance of the protection of property rights on the political level. Secondly, this also indicates that China's top decision-makers have a high degree of recognition the need of the effective protection of the rights; thirdly the guideline admits there are certain weaknesses and issues in China’s property protection; fourthly proposing protection of property rights in accordance with the law is vital in salvaging China’s market confidence; fifthly, after making clear principles of legal protection of property rights, China needs to enter the new stage of property protection, allowing the people to enjoy permanent properties that cannot be violated, which would in turn cultivate perseverance for wealth security.
