Recently, the Chinese media reported a number of traditional foreign trades are facing economic development difficulty. Among them, the most typical is the city of Suzhou. The success of Suzhou's export-oriented economy is well known in China; its GDP ranks fifth in the country. However, the "New Normal" and the economic transformation have impacted Suzhou's economy.
