Trump's winning makes China more relaxed
ANBOUND
As Donald Trump becomes the President of the United States, his internal and foreign policies will gradually be largely adjusted. How will this impact China? In this regard, Anbound research team believes that the US Congress will play a larger role in major policy formulation, and the Republican Party that controls the House of Representatives and the Senate will use the Congress to balance Trump. As Trump's external security and economic policy shows clear isolationism, Obama's Asia-Pacific rebalancing strategy is bound to be adjusted to some extent, and China will also be more relaxed in dealing with the issue of Taiwan. Overall, China's external pressure will be reduced, and the international situations will be more advantageous to China. However, after Trump takes the office, China will be facing great pressures and uncertainties on China-US economic and trade relations; the United States will be likely to put more pressures on China in the Renminbi exchange rate, and in its anti-dumping and countervailing duties.
