Is Germany's Capitalism moving towards Imperialism?
ANBOUND
Germany is often considered as an open capital country, however recently Germany used a nonsensical excuse to withdraw approval for Chinese takeover of tech group. Chan Kung, Anbound's chief researcher pointed out that an apolitical, open market is generally considered as capitalist free market; if the market is with political purpose and is intervened by the government, then it would be considered as imperialist. Now Germany is doing the same, which deserves a high degree of vigilance, as the imperialist ideas are proliferating in the world. This is especially true for a country like Germany; German products are highly popular in China and yet Germany now uses a senseless excuse to openly prevent market mergers and acquisitions. Perhaps the Chinese and German governments really should sit down and have a good talk.
