China's air-traffic control system problems should not be ignored

In recent years, the risk of air-traffic control has been more frequent; in October 11, two passenger jets almost collided at the Hongqiao Airport at Shanghai has caused much discussions. We believe that the root of the problem lies in lack of systematic management of the industry. At present, air-traffic control has been facing with the problem of lack of personnel, heavy work responsibility and salary issues. After the incident, China's air-traffic control will definitely be strengthened up, and there will be increment for the air-traffic control employees. Nonetheless, the systematic problems revealed in the air-traffic system cannot be ignored; it is clear that salary as the core of the system is giving pressures to the entire system. If the problem is not solved, the hidden problems might be accelerated.
