Singapore facing risk of economic collapse
ANBOUND
Singapore, as one of the Four Asian Tigers had created economic miracle with an average annual GDP growth of 9% between 1960 and 1984. Now, the country faces serious challenges. In our view, Singapore's economic problems include aging population; serious polarization between the rich and the poor that affects consumption; state-owned economy occupying more social resources, and there is chaos investment. Coupled with the inappropriate geopolitical strategy by promoting TPP while excluding China, Singapore is now subject to China's economic pressure. The country is likely to face the risk of economic collapse.
