Chinese Banks Are Selling Off Non-Performing Loans
ANBOUND

Recently, Bank of Communications disclosed that it has sold off its non-performing loans (NPL). The non-performing loans over the first half of the year amounted 5.1 billion Yuan and were sold at 30% to 40% discount rate. This indicates that China's domestic banks begin to adopt the transfer mechanism in dealing with NPL. Certainly, in the near future it will become a common practice in China.
