China moves to reopen market to US Beef
ANBOUND
It is reported that the Chinese premier Li Keqiang, who has just concluded his official visit to the United States agrees to reopen beef market to the American producers. Anbound research team believes that this is a compromise to hasten the reaching of the China-United States Bilateral Investment Agreement (BIT), and the United States has imposed great political and economic pressures on its allies to open-up foreign beef market. Although there are still many obstacles to be solved in the BIT negotiation, China opening-up its beef market to the United States will be advantageous when it negotiates with the United States to open-up the market of other sectors.
