Rural Migrant Workers and the Neo-urbanization
ANBOUND

Since 2010 , the growth rate of the total migrant workers continued to drop, the number of rural workers stay at their native places have outgrown the number of workers who migrated to the cities, showing that the growth of the rural workers staying at their native places is much faster than the migrant workers who work at the cities.

The research team at ANBOUND Consulting is of the view that the growth in migrant workers is near stagnant and it is likely that negative growth will occur in 2016.

The trend of rural migrant workers returning home in droves is an irresistible trend and the government should take concerted efforts to integrate the rural migrant workers who are returning home into the neo-urbanization initiative.

In order to alleviate and eliminate poverty in rural areas and to build a moderately prosperous society, we should develop the rural economy by improving the rural employment environment as well as encouraging the capital going to the countryside.
