To Achieve Breakthrough in China's Rural Reform, Start With the Land System
ANBOUND

There are two different schools of thought on the reform of the rural land system. On the one hand, the "conservative reformists" believe that the rural collective land should not be traded while the “breakthrough-oriented reformists” believe that China should open up the rural and residential land rights moderately.

ANBOUND Consulting is of the view that the reform of the rural land system should move with time. Against the backdrop of neo-urbanization, China should strive to achieve breakthrough in the land system, the land rights and land transactions. This way, China can mobilize a large number of capitals from the cities to the rural areas, providing a relatively stable driving force to both the rural development and the nation's economic development.
