Having returned from his Central and Eastern European trip, President Xi Jinping met with the Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the bilateral cooperation between China and Russia with the view to lend support to the New Silk Road Economic Belt.
The chief researcher at ANBOUND Consulting, Chan Kung is of the view that China has the condition and ability to promote exchanges of strategic interests between Russia and China.
Currently, the importance of South China Sea in the New Silk Road has reduced relatively but the tension maintained in the chaos gives china the opportunity and space for future action.
