G20 Summit will be held in China in the near future and the research team at ANBOUND Consulting points out that as G20's influence will increase with the increase of the economic level of emerging countries, China should integrate this platform with the Belt and Road Initiative.

Through improving and internationalizing the regulations of the Belt and Road Initiative, China can showcase the Initiative in the G20 Summit and more importantly, to secure a bigger say in setting the rules relating to the Initiative.

This would allow China to maintain its interest while allowing the international community to understand more about the investment value of the Belt and Road Initiative, which should be promoted in this G20 Summit.
