The urbanization in China has brought tremendous changes to both the rural areas and the rural residents; it has also brought the reform of the rural land system to a new chapter in the history.

In recent years, the government has imposed the separation of three farmland rights on the rural land, this, however has only satisfy rural development needs partially, there is no real breakthrough in the fundamental issue of land system.
