ANBOUND's research team and some of the industry players have analyzed the development of the internet and concluded that industrial internet is the next trend.

Although both the internet industry and the industrial internet pursued by China and developed countries respectively are evolving around the industries, there are obvious differences in terms of development thinking, direction and the implementation method – China’s internet industry focuses mainly on the low-level service of business matching and provision of value added service while the developed countries’ industrial internet focuses on revamping various aspects of the industries such as industrial manufacturing and designing.

It is not suitable to compare these two types of internet industries by analogy, however, if the internet industry fails to penetrate into various industry segments, then a real internet industry will not be created.
