Initially planned to be introduced in late July, the new regulations for the Shanghai Free Trade Zone are currently put on hold. Because of the loopholes in the new rules, the government is facing a dilemma on the laws to use when comes to handling disputes between foreign investors and Chinese partners. The establishment of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone is much harder than expected.
