The Silicon Valley based technology giant, Andy Grove claimed that as more and more works are being transferred to overseas, the United States is getting less efficient in creating employment opportunities for the Americans in technology industry.

We are of the view the decision makers in China should ponder on Grove's comments because the shift in manufacturing sector experienced by Silicon Valley is now occurring in China in a massive scale, albeit China’s technology is at a much lower grade.

If the manufacturing sector in China, which has been dubbed the "world’s factory" is hollowing out with the capital flooding into real estate market to make quick buck or gone crazy with financial innovations, then this is highly detrimental to the development in China’s industries.
