The Simple Merger of 'One Bank, Three Commissions", Not the Future Policy Direction
ANBOUND

During this year's Boao Forum For Asia, many official and scholars have voiced against the idea of merging 'one bank, three commissions’.

ANBOUND’s research team is of the view that now is not the right timing to make significant adjustment to the ‘one bank, three commissions’, however, China should consider create a super, political coordinator for the financial regulators and turn the central bank and three market-regulating commissions into professional regulatory bodies and downgrade them administratively.
