The General Manager of China Investment Corporation (CIC), Gao Xiqing, stated that the US government's responses to the CIC's investments in the country have been discouraging. In his views, investing in the US is a long-lasting "battle", in which both the Chinese government and companies have to conduct long-term preparations in advance.
