German Automakers Place Their Bets On Chinese Market

On 9th March, German automaker Borgward announced officially its plan to enter and compete in the Chinese market.

In addition to Borgward, Volkswagen and Mercedes-benz are also German automakers that place great emphasis on Chinese market.

ANBOUND's research team is of the view that in recent years, German products have been suffering from confidence crisis and the fact that the German automakers invariably chose the Chinese market as their battlefield reflects not only China’s prominent status in global auto market but also signals that the Chinese market will be the key battlefield for various countries’ automakers.
