After the election victory, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has changed its working priority from politics to economics.

ANBOUND's research team is of the view that the DPP represented by Tsai Ing-wen has put economics as its top priority of which the development of manufacturing sector is of utmost importance.

While promoting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing sector, Tsai is also moving to establish a new 'quasi-sovereign wealth fund' to guide the key development in manufacturing sector.

Overall, Tsai has demonstrated a rather practical side by alleviating the pressure faced by Taiwan through industries and finances.
