China, Pakistan and Iran have deepened their cooperation on energy sector by jointly building a transnational energy channel which is of great importance to the long-term economic development of all these three countries.

ANBOUND's research team has however highlights that in order to get a complete grasp on the complexity of the problems, the Chinese policy makers should think more from the perspective of Iran and Pakistan and take effective measures to curb the problems.

The Chinese policy makers should take these three factors into consideration, namely, the relationship between Iran and Pakistan, the cross-border regional problems and the competition and interference from India.
