What is the Outlook for Hong Kong's Economy?
ANBOUND
Hong Kong's economy has shown signs of long-term stagnation.
ANBOUND’s research team is of the view that Hong Kong does not have the advantage of real economy and its service industry has failed to align with mainland China’s real economy. In addition to the social polarization in Hong Kong, the increasingly unstable situation in Hong Kong is probably also another important factor attributing to economic stagnation.
In order to revitalize its economy, not only that Hong Kong should focus on mainland China’s economy and make good use of its service sector, Hong Kong should also step up efforts to diffuse antagonism among the society and reach social consensus.
