Air Pollution, Holding India Back From Industrialization and Urbanization
ANBOUND
On 24th February, Greenpeace India published its 2015 annual report, Clean Air Action Plan: The Way Forward.
Statistic shows that for in 2015, for the first time, the air pollution level in India is worse than that in China.
ANBOUND's research team believes that in 2015, India’s economic growth rate has exceeded China’s but the industrialization and urbanization level in India remains weak. Should India be troubled with serious air pollution, this will no doubt restrict its future economic development.
