China Banking Regulatory Commission said that it will push forward the pilot of private financial institutions by this year. However, it will be established on their own risk whereby the initiators have to guarantee risk protection in order to prevent the depositors, creditors and taxpayers from losing their interest should the operation failed. Taking this into consideration, the establishment of private banks might take place by this year.
