In January, the Israel's electricity board suffered from serious computer-based attacks which has paralyzed computers and led to a partial grid shutdown.

ANBOUND’s scholars are of the view that there will be more and more malicious computer-based attacks on key infrastructure facilities globally. The key infrastructure facilities such as electricity, natural gas, crude oil, petroleum and water supply have now become the main targets of the cyber hackers.

The relevant departments in China should stay highly alert on this issue and there should be more efforts to prevent this from happening and the corresponding plans should be developed in advance.
