Government's Improper Planning, Enterprises Bear Huge Cost
ANBOUND
The Tianjin blast on 12th August has taught the Tianjin Binhai New Area a big lesson.
ANBOUND's scholars are of the view that in addition to the factors attributable to the enterprises’ management, the situation in the hazardous chemical producing enterprises has something to do with the improper planning by the government.
There are many other large industrial zones across China and the potential risks similar to that of hazardous chemical producing enterprises in Tianjin is still out there and this is a lesson to be learnt by the local governments who are still keen on developing large industrial parks – the planning of the industries and the industrial should have taken these risks into consideration before proceed further.
