ANBOUND: To Implement "Belt and Road", the concept of “Middle East” Have To Be Rectified
ANBOUND
ANBOUND's research team is of the view that the importance of the Middle East geopolitics is no longer restricted to its geographical significance where "two oceans, three continents and five seas" meet, from political point of view, the Middle East problem is no longer confined to the dispute between Arabian countries and Israel.
In order for the “Belt and Road’ to succeed in the chaotic environment in Middle East, it is crucial that China should make use of the changes in the world’s geopolitics and maneuvers its diplomacy policy and make proper adjustment to the allocation of its resources.
In order to avoid the disconnection with the international community, the first and foremost task is to reposition and reevaluate the related concepts.
Therefore, in order to implement the “Belt and Road” strategy, the “Middle East” concept must be amended accordingly.
