What Are the Points to Take Away From CNNIC's Latest Report?

On 22nd January, China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) published its 37th China Internet Development Statistical Report.

ANBOUND's scholars are of the view following the slowdown in the growth rate of the China’s netizens, it is evident that the competitions among the enterprises in China’s internet market have already turned fierce and it will remain so in the future. Given that the penetrations of internet into various industries have become more profound, against such a backdrop, on the one hand, China’s internet enterprises should innovate new business models to increase their profits while on the other hand, China’s internet enterprises should go global as opening up of new market is an inevitable trend.

Meanwhile, in respond to the expansion in the scale of internet, the regulations on internet space too has been enhanced gradually.
