In the first half of 2013, total tax revenue in China has reached RMB 5.926 trillion—an increase of 7.9% on y-o-y basis. Such a trend is mainly due to the decline of growth for both main and real estate-related tax revenues. This in turn, causes more fiscal revenue pressure on both the central and local governments.
