Saudi Arabia is considering an IPO of Aramco, the Sign of Immense Fiscal Pressure
ANBOUND

Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman says that Saudi Arabia is thinking about listing shares in Saudi Aramco.

ANBOUND's research team is of the view that the main reason for listing Aramco is to alleviate the country’s fiscal pressure brought by the slumping oil prices.

The fiscal problem has a long-term, systemic impact on Saudi Arabia.

If oil prices continue to slump, Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf oil-producing countries will face long-term changes in their development environment and this will change everything from oil markets, regional economy to the geopolitics.
