The global oil prices continue to slump and the domestic oil industry continues to suffer.

It was reported that the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce and other departments are studying the refined oil pricing mechanism.

ANBOUND's research team is of the view that the government should take advantage of the rare opportunity brought by the market environment of low oil prices where supply exceeds demand to accelerate the reform of the country’s oil and gas, to promote the inclusion of social capital into the industrial chain, to allow third party access into gas pipeline network and to propel marketization reform of oil prices.
