Japan Set Up Specialized Platform to Promote Its Culture Abroad

According to the Japanese media, the Japanese government has established the "Cool Japan Fund" in Tokyo to promote the commercialization of the “Cool Japan” and to increase overseas demands.
ANBOUND's research team is of the view that the Japanese platform is similar to that of Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).
The success of “Korean Wave” in China’s market and other markets in recent years have close tie to the promotions made by KOCCA.
It is very clear that the purpose of Japan’s move to emulate South Korea is to enhance the country’s soft power and to lead Japan into becoming cultural power.
